Pre-departure

A Letter of His Faithfulness

Hello family, friends and readers!

I am writing with great joy and thankfulness today. As the day of departure draws closer, God has given me peace of mind. On August 9, 2018, I became fully funded for the Mission Trip to Yokohama. Thank you so much for your support in my life and this ministry.

As I reflect on his faithfulness, I am reminded of a larger clear sign of affirmation from God. It came in the form of my mother. Ma and I have always butted heads when it came to ministry involvement. I was afraid to tell her I was going to quit my job to go on a missions trip. I didn’t want our relationship to be strained any further. I brought this to God in prayer… and the next time I saw ma, I told her. The next morning I get a voice note from her during work. Tears began to fall down my face because of what God did. The message said that she is okay with me going to serve God and that she will also support me. His faithfulness knows no bounds, he was able to bring a bit of understanding between a rebellious daughter and a stubborn mother. For that I praise God, and I continue to do so. God knows the plans he has for me (Jer 29:11), and he is revealing it with many blessings and healed wounds.

The next steps will be booking accommodations and finalizing the trip details. Please continue to pray for the Japanese church to be moved by God just as much as I have been these last months. His Spirit is ever present and so real.

Thank you all again for being a blessing in my life.
